Migraine
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head. Absent serious head injuries, stroke, and tumors, the recurring severity of the pain indicates a vascular headache rather than a tension headache. Migraines are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
The word migraine is French in origin and comes from the Greek hemicrania, as does the Old English term megrim. Literally, hemicrania means “only half the head”.(taken from wikipedia.com)
Women often suffer from migraines due to hormonal imbalances. Very often women experience migraine at a certain point in their cycle.
We have extensive experience with migraines whether they are from hormonal issues or structural. Here is what patients are saying:
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for providing me relief from my daily migraine headaches which I suffered through for more than three years. Being headache free for a record 49 days is a great gift. Your technique and skills in the field of alternative medicine are second to none.
You have given me my life back. I am no longer fearful of those dreadful daily attacks. I function at a higher level and am once again enjoying life like I did in my pre-headache days. I can’t thank you enough for all you have done and continue to do.
